either the BMW, or Mini.

Looks like its the $23-40K ish range ??? Personally, I'd say forget all those rides, and go with a new, or 2003-05 Subi WRX, or STI .... but maybe that is not his style.

from my experience, my sister has a Mini Cooper S and my mom has a 3-series, you can't go wrong with either of them... but my choice for him would be the Bimmer, the Mini is great, but not as comfy to drive as the 3... both are good choices, though
