Default How come most people I see driving Scions are old?

Its weird that Scion, a brand aimed at the younger crowd, is being driven by much older people. From my experience on the road every day, I see that older people drive Scions more than younger people. Whats up with that?

it makes them feel young, at the same time it cost less for them.

Here in Puerto Rico I see a lot of "old" people driving the xB and xA and some of tCs, but still a lot of young people too.

Everyone buys every kind of car these days. Heck, half the Porsche 911s I see are driven by young chicks (so wrong!) who have no appreciation whatsoever of what they are driving.

The world has gone to hell in a handbasket.

I've heard the xB is actually pretty good for the elderly b/c of how high the seats sit. They don't have to get up to get out of the vehicle. Kind of just swing their legs over and step out. Same with getting in. Just kind of sitting on a chair.

That is definitely not true in my area- I *ONLY* see people who are 17-25 driving a Scion xB or TC. With the xA........ mostly young, but the occasional middle-age-I-Need-beater-driver.

All commercials and ad campaigns aside, Scion's are a great deal for the money; no matter how old you are.

EDIT: Oh yeah, one more thing. The audience Scion's commercials are meant to appeal to the most can't even drive legally yet.

Around here, if anyone needs a beater, they just get remarried.....

Us old farts like Scions for the same reasons you young guys like them. Great price, great gas mileage, fun to drive, dependable and most importantly the old chicks dig them too...
