how to format a sata drive
#2
If your mobo bios supports SATA boot a Win XP disk and delete the partition. Then create a partion, format, and install assuming that you want WinXP.
If it doesn't support bios you need to put in a IDE drive, boot to windows and then have windows format the SATA drive. Or take it to a friends compy that has sata and intsall it as a slave drive and format it.
