Guys, its an easy quesiton.....

Plus the District of Columbia, and a few territories.

You would think that would be an easy question, but we had this quiz we were taking at the dealership one day and one of the questions was how many states are in the U.S. and I would say about three quarters of the people said either 48 or 52. I got it right though cause I'm not as dumb as them.

thats nothing.. my sister, currently living in kentucky, was buying a car and needed a co-signer.... i couldnt do it ... so she was gonna have my parrents (they live in hawaii) co-sign.... it took over a week for the dealership to clear it cuz 9 of 10 sales people swore that hawaii wasnt a state.. just a territory at best...

puerto rico is a territory, i think thats the label for it...is territory correct?

gotta love the peeps that failed US Geography 101...... or whatever the "basic" geography class is..... not saying i can name all the capitols of each state or whatever.. but come on... one should know what the 50 states are...

Puerto Rico is a protectorate. US has only one territory, it is the palmyra islands off of hawaii (like a 1000 miles off)
