The thread when I started it was not aimed at people with big cars-it was aimed at people like the first one where they can't even park legally because there vehicle is so big.

The woman with the 1 child, she has a husband I am sure and I believe she has another kid maybe in like first grade-that would fit into just about any size of car-the problem was she parks in a compact spot and doesn't even park straight so she essentially cause problems for 2 other people because she doesn't care. This parking lot-although empty in the photos-is actually overfull at 3:00 even though school doesn't get out until 3:30 and in the 20 or so compact spots I see 70% full of full sized mini-vans and over sized SUVs (oversized to fit in a compact spot).

It's not about the cars being big-it's about the people who don't need these on a daily basis going out, driving and parking them incorrectly and causing problems. It's really no different than the guy who parks his precious 3 series sideways in 3 spots at the mall so no one dings him-it's just that these urban streets and parking lots don't allow for these big vehicles to work and the driver's don't even try.

In other words, people who don't follow the basic rules of society and come off as stuck up or superior. Irritating.

No, not the basic rules, just the basics of having manners and thoughtfulness and thinking outside of their own little world where everything revolves around them.

I could take up that whole space even with my little car, hey wouldn't ever have to worry about door dings, but it is rude and impolite and re-inforces that there are parking limitations and problems at this location and I just made them worse.

I understand some people being frustrated with big vehicles but seriously stop worrying about what people drive or questioning why they bought it. So what if they have 1 kid and a 9 passenger suv, its what they wanted.

the roof of the trucks was taller than houses 1st floor roof of their garage.

and it was parked next to a hummer in the driveway. it made that thing look like a tonka toy. lol

I see absolutely no reason for an suv.

I have never seen a large family actually use a large suv. I see them use large conversion vans. dodge sprinters, stuff like that.
And I rarely see them tow anything. I see large trucks towing. suv's (I feel) are completely useless to society.

large SUV's are for the MILF's yapping away on the cell phone that dont look or signal before they change lanes.
that way when they get into an accident theyre fine.
