I guess we weren't prepared?
So we are selling our 97 sunfire. Saturday we get 3 calls on it within about 1 hour. We decide to meet with oone of the couples in a nearby town at the Costco parking lot. So we meet these folks.....kinda thinking on the way up there that they weren't going to buy the car for some reason. Anyway, we show them the car they drive it it's for the daughter and she loves it. So everything is good right??
Suddenly as I am filling out the paperwork the temp drops about 10 degrees, starts raining, and wind like a mo fo. We go to a nearby Staples to fill out and copy the paperwork. They hand us cash...thank you thank you! And then they said it. Laughingly they say "so how are you getting home?" Oh crap! We only brought that car! LMFAO! Luckily we had my brother in law come pick us up....we sure as hell weren't walking 42 miles in this weather home!
Anyway, car sold, cash in hand! Happy day!

Well at least you got it sold! I had a Celica last year that I couldn't get rid of. I had like 10 people come and look at it, a few said they were interested but no one would buy. Good thing your brother in law was nice enough to come pick you up. Imagine how much a 42 mile cab fare would be.
