Default I hate my insurance co.!

Well i just got my Insurance Summary from Progressive a couple of days ago and realized that my insurance went up $160. I know pay an extra $25 a month (which isnt much). That kinda ____ed me off and wanted to know why? I did get a ticket around July but i went to DD and i paid it off so i cleared that up! So i call them yesterday afternoon while at work and i was on the phone "waiting" for about 20 mins. I then hung up cause they took too long. I called when i got home from work which was around 6pm (central time). "Waiting" for another 30 mins. Hung up cause i hate to wait for this type of crap on the phone! I call again this morning cause i woke up a little early before work and i finally was able to speak to someone. I wanted to know why they decided to up my insurance. They said

Rate revision in TX, young "SCION" drivers are getting into many wrecks the past months and we've been paying too much for it
Son-of-a-b*tches! Cause one f*cker messes up, everyone else has to pay! Has anyone else had this latley? I have no problem with paying, but if their gonna keep doing this crap everytime a Scion owner gets into a wreck, this sucks!

So just wanted to share this with yall! :D

tC is a sports car to some companies and I wouldn't doubt if everyone's insurance goes up due to more accidents w/ Scion's

Thats what we get for having "special" cars.

I pay 1/2 of that for three cars. Most companies drop rates when you get married or turn 25.

Yeah well, my company dropped my policy in may and "sent two notices to me" which I of course never got. And of course no one thought to, oh I don't know... maybe CALL ME. ____tards. Now I gotta pay an extra $30 a month cuz of a lapse in coverage. Farging iceholes!

Allstate raised my rates when I bought my Scion. Going from a $30,000 minivan to a $16,000 xB has cost me an extra $130 every 6 months.
For me age has nothing to do with it. My record is clean going back 7 years, I am married, 30 and have 2 kids. I'm as low risk as they come.

Oh well. What I am saving in gas money more than makes up for the increase.

mine went up and progressives response was the accident rate in the car and that there were some recalls on it... i havent heard of any recalls except for the wind deflector which mine isnt affected and the airbag recall(only 133units affected). i thought it was bull but i dunno

Progressive lost me when I tried to add my new bike. They quoted me a price before I bought the bike. Then after I actually got it they tried to quote me almost double the first quote. I said F' off and switched to Geico and got it and the rest of my vehicles insured for less. Thanks alot Progressive!!!
