He may be dumb, but his GPA was higher than Kerry's and Idiot Al's. We won't even talk about Ted Kennedy!

GPA is nothing, I'd like to see the same comparison with IQ.

Its not just the president who runs the country, its a government, not a person.

People need to realize that the president can only do what they allow him to do. We have a government based on checks and balances. We elect these people. We still speak english (for the most part) and we still have the ability to live a civilized lifestyle.
Be happy because it could be MUCH worse.

Gee thats what I said when Clinton was in office... then the Bush came to town...

On a side note, one should never be happy and simply accept ineptitude. Especially where the USA is concerned. That nonchalant attitude of societies has been the precept for the rise of some of the worst ideologies on the planet.

Well we need a "Go out, get educated, and then vote!" campaign. lol
You can't do that! It not only would be racist, but the end of the Democratic party!

Implying race has something to do with uneducated voters, is fairly racist in its self.

I was refering to all dumb people and their uneducated votes, not just specific races and their uneducated votes.

Number of bills Bush has vetoed = 0

Where's the checks and balances there? I sure as heck don't see one.

The prez also gets to appoint his advisors and staff. Bringing in all your Haliburton buddies isn't the best way to keep a balanced view of things. Also, keeping all of the tv's tuned to only one news channel (irrelevant as to which channel) does not give you the best perspective. and if that channel also happens to be your biggest cheerleader, then you are getting a very warped view of the world around you.

Dissent isn't necessarily a bad thing.

Congress = Controlled by Repubs
Senate = Controlled by Repubs
Supreme Court = Controlled by Repubs
White House = Repubs...

You know Bush wants to be a dictator and he is slowly making things happen... Here is a quote from him... "If this were a dictatorship, it would be a heck of a lot easier - just so long I'm the dictator." December 18, 2000

I will agree - Hitler was insane, smart, and driven- his cohorts were even moreso.

Bush is not insane, he's not smart, and he's not driven - his cohorts are even MOREso.

Please don't misconstrue these comments as admiring Hitler in any way or condoning his actions.
I tend to vote mostly Republican, and I agree that Bush could be doing a much better job. And by the way, you'd have to specify how Hitler was smart. Hitler was a great orator, a master at motivating his citizens, and implemented a huge amount of public programs (including building the autobahn). However, he also an obviously blatant racist, a murderer of over 6 million people, and an absolutely horrible military strategist. If Hitler left the major military decisions up to his top generals, the war would have been much more difficult to win.

being an evil SOB does preclude someone from being highly intellegent. All you have to do is look at the mess Germany was in after WWI and then see how short of time it took to become the world power. I mean, it did take just about the whole world ganging up on him plus some questionable millitary moves (namely invading Russia in winter) to beat him. You can't exactly ride the short bus and accomplish all of that.
