I'm about to get a tattoo!!

Ok...never mind...I'm not getting a tattoo...my boyfriend won't let me (and don't worry, he's looking out for my best interests...) the tattoo artist is doing my friend right now, and he isn't that good. I guess I will do it some other time. And I love the idea of the lips...I think I will do that instead! You are a genious! I'm gonna go have a beer now...I have been craving one all night, and haven't had one cuz I thought I was going to get a tattoo...damn...I'm a little let down, but I see where he is coming from.
(My original idea was to get a bitemark on my ___...and I don't really want this guy to do it...I don't know...)

Wait to get it done from someone who not only knows what they are doing and is a good artist, but also a very clean artist. Don't make a mistake like I did and let your drunk/high friend tattoo on you. The damn thing is 2 years old and is raised like braille.

dont do beer... or anything else that thins the blood..... talk about a big mess.
They are addicting though... 19yrs old and over 60hrs of tattoos haha, think of the money I could have put into the box instead.

And alcohol isn't a great idea before getting a tat. For one thing it thins your blood and leads to excess bleeding, and if you're wasted when you get the ink it may not be something you really wanted.
Get drunk afterward. :D

I didn't get the tat because he was doing my friend first (He is getting the jagermeister label on his side) and the guys hand is shaking like an old man!!!! I want nice clean lines, not wavy ones!! Oh, and yes, I do love my ___, it brings me good times every night!!! (with my long term boyfriend).

Since 8 people just said the same thing about drinking and getting a tattoo, I will add new information and say that you shouldn't take any asprin or ibuprofen (probably any pain killers).
I had taken ibuprofen a few hours before i had my nose pierced. After yelping in pain from the needle and placement of nose ring, I hear "we gotta bleeder" and I see blood literally cover my piercer's hands, arms and clothes, it's all over the floor, counters and wall. They had me lay down, I guess that is supposed to slow the blood and promote clotting. I was soaking paper towel after paper towel. The tattoo artist came in and was aghast at the sight, and kept an eye on me in case I flip out with all the blood coming out and all over the room. Even my clothes were bloody. I just laid there, trying to think of how much blood people donate and how much is okay for me to lose.
It finally clot. The piercer said she must of hit a blood vessel but didn't understand why it didn't clot. She asked me if I took anything beforehand and I told her about the ibuprofen. She said that was the cause. I didn't really believe her but i looked it up online and sure as ship, she was right.
I wish I had pictures... I'm sure it sounds as though I'm exaggerating and I swear I'm not, lol.
