I recently lost all the data from my home computer. A virus totally screwed up the Window op. system and was unable to recover anything and I had to format the hard drive and start over. Luckily my I-tunes program had converted all my family pictures (100's of them) to I-pod format and they are stored on my Ipod.

The question is: Can I copy those picture from my Ipod back to my computer's hard drive and be able to use them again? There were so many non-replaceable family photos that were lost in the computer crash and I would like very much to recover them if possible.

Also how do I copy all the music info from my Ipod back to my Ipod library on my home computer? I didn't see were there was an option to do that in the Itune software.

WooHoo! I got some great help on this problem! Turns out there is a 3rd party software that will do this and a friend of a freind took care of it for me. He was able to save and download 1300+ family photos off my Ipod and backed them up on a CD for me. So cool!

Not sure on what caused the probelm. I think it was something my daughter downloaded from deviantart web site. The same thig happened to her laptop.
