I'm going to have to run everything I say through a Qur'an filter now, because I say those two lines in passing conversation sometimes. God (Allah?) knows what other ____ I say is in that book.

Argh!
This game was supposed be out like what, last year this time, and they had to push it back for issues with the game play I think. Now because someone is offended by a few lyrics that you have to carefully listen for they're recalling the games. Wtf?

Amazon.com has a slated release date of Nov. 4. BOOOOOO!!!!!!
I'm interested to see Sunday's newspaper. I'm sure Best Buy, Target, and other stores were really
going to promote this game in their ads. It didn't seem that they had enough time to pull the ads.
It could be really interesting tomorrow...

Who would you rather offend?
Muslims, for including a song that has two obscure lines from their holy book sung, and are "deeply offended"
or
Retailers, for basically screwing out on a release date and making them have to change everything they're doing, and end up losing tons of money
or
Consumers, who get faked out on something they spent their hard earned money on because a minority got offended, and end up having a negative viewpoint on every facet of the issue
Now, lets take arguably the most offensive series of all, Grand Theft Auto. How many groups of people do you think that series has offended? How many times have you heard that production ground to a halt, just because someone complained about a game before launch? Why is this any different?

the offensive songs that we will never knew existed. To compare Sony to Rockstar is like apples to oranges.
Sony is know for their family products whereas Rockstar is known for it's mature content. (Mostly.)
Trying to compare the 2 companies can go back and forth forever. Its all a difference of opinion.
