great story..that was really good ha haha but is really true u shouldnt gotten that ticket..i got cought doing 25 over 60 the speed limit..the officer ask me for ma registration and lic.. he said u know u were speeding right..i was like im sorry sir i couldnt tell. well i dont wan to c u around here anymore..so get the f out..that was all. pheww

i got pulled over one sunday morning around 10:45 going 80 through a 40 in my 95 explorer. i didn't even see the cop as i flew through one of the intersections, but he caught up to me by the time i stopped at a redlight down the way.

he asked where i was in a rush to, i pointed to the shopping center where i worked and said "just into work". he asked where, i pointed to my restaurants logo on my uniform and he said "well, you guys take good care of us, and i know you want to get there in one piece, you just have to be careful of those charity collectors on the medians at the intersection, they aren't supposed to be there but you'd be in a world of trouble if you hit one of them. and i just saw you go by when i was approaching 108 from queen elizabeth, so i don't know how fast you were really going, but i would generous if i guessed it was only 60 mph (i almost blurted out 80 and he cut me off right away) BUT ONLY YOU KNOW HOW FAST YOU WERE GOING."

he told me to take it easy and he'll see me later and to say hi to my boss. that was a close call.

 

^ see I dont know wtf the cop that gave me a ticket was thinking, cuz I mean isnt it a "I scratch your back you scratch mine" kinda relationship, I havent had any issues before with any cops but this guy was just being a jerk I guess, he hasnt came here since the last time but its all good, his buddies continue to eat here and they shall continue to get hooked up, hahaha today one of them came in and was still cracking up about that, he was like "I cant beleive he would expect you to give him a discount after he wrote you a ticket, I cant beleive he came here the next day and expected a discount, I would have done the samething if i was in your shoes" I laughed and went on my way LOL.

 

if the cop had already written the ticket before he realized it was you in the car, he didn't have a choice. if they write a ticket up, they can't just throw it away because it'd end up being a random blank ticket space with some question marks. on the other hand, if he didn't write you up until the end, that's just a dick move.

This guy came to the driver side window, called me by my first name, asked me how everything at the store is going, went to the back of his car 10 minutes later asked me how to come to his patrol car, wrote me the ticket smiled said have a good night............ and then hes gonna have the nerve to expect me to give him a discount?

I mean I know that it comes down to this, I really was speeding, He really has the disretion to write or not write me a ticket, its his job to write tickets and he was just doing his job. Thats cool with me though, I paid the ticket no biggy, but I guess he failed to realize that I also have the discretion to give or not give him a discount. So when I seen him come in I was like my turn lol.....

 

i got pulled over going 85+ by a undercover cop passing him...


im guessing he didnt have a radar on so he couldnt exactly say how fast i was going and give me a ticket.


but allot of my friends have had tickets for like 15 20 over and they say "i really cant afford any more points" and he will either not give them one or write it down to like say ther were going 69 in a 60 so the only get like a 2 point ticket.


my dad installs all the police lights/computers and stuff in there cars so if i ever get pulled over and they see my last name... i get out of them 80% of the time....

 

“…1/2 mile…warning…sorry…policy…” What an a**!! He was just spewing some crap to make himself seem like a nice guy. He showed his true colors there, he’s one of those tight-a**ed cops that can’t stand not being liked. Hopefully you showed him that sometimes people are just being nice (bending “policy”) to be nice, and that it shouldn’t be expected just because.
