Haha! That is awesome! He got what he deserved! As a cop, we appreciate places of business that extend a discount. As a nice gesture, cops might stop there more or do their report in the parking lot. An officer's presence helps to deter a potential robbery or other crime. Might not be a big deal in a small town, but in Houston it is a different story.

That being said, the officer should have used his discretion and let you slide with a verbal warning. If a ticket had to be issued, he should have told you to take it to court and that there would be a good chance of him NOT SHOWING UP.

If I were you, I'd charge him full price all the time. Comp his buddies but screw him. I bet they will give him such a hard time for being an idiot. Trust me, cops as a rule only eat at places that are free or discounted. He just burned a bridge... what a guy!

 

yup he no longer gets a discount here lol, he hasnt been in since but next time its the same thing, no discount for him LOL.
