from what i understand you have to know someone who works for gm to get it....my bro works at the toyota plant(nummi) and i can get the discount for toyota/gm cars but he has to show something in order to get it and be there with me....i would just go down to were you want to buy the car and ask for it .with the way things are right now im sure you can get a hell of a deal maybe even better than employye price...

Thanks.

To my Knowledge you Fill out Information and then you get a Auth # and I can take that Auth # to my dealer.

You're trying to buy the saab?

I would do like VIP camo said and just go down there and try to haggle them down. Everyone I know that works at car dealerships (sales people) are telling me salls are terrible. At every dealer, not just domestic.

So just go down to the dealer you are looking at and name them a price, and make them get in your ball park.

I used to work at dealers for a few years and I would see people get shafted because they would go in there and say they want 2-3k off the MSRP, and the salesmen is like ehhhhh ok leme see if I can do that.

They walk into the closed off sales tower and laugh because the markup is still like 6k more than what you needed to pay, lol.

Sorry for the long post, but they have lots of leg room to work with. At least 4-5k depending on the car, which is better than the employee discount, and they NEED to move vehicles. Go in there and tell them what you want to spend, period. They will do it up for you, trust me.

Don't let them haggle you either, if they come back and tell you it can't be done (and you're within reason) just leave. But make sure you spend a little time stalling the salesman, so he spends a few hours on you. Then when you get up to leave he will realize he's already wasted half his day on you, and he'll give in.

Thats about all I got I think.
