Default Need some advice???

Alright guys, so I wasn't really sure where to post this so if it needs to be moved feel free to do so.

Alright so here is the deal. Right now I have an auto tc. I want a manual so I was thinking about trading my auto in. Well, my parents are getting a divorce and its time my mom gets a new car. She said I could sell her truck, which would get me about 8000 and get another car and she would take my car. Well she also suggested getting a project car to work on and her get another car. So my question is do I get a manual tc. Do I wait and see what the ft86 is like and get that? Do I wait for the new tC and get that? Or should I get a classic car and build it up and do bracket racing and just keep my auto tC? I have put a hold on all mods to my car and have started saving money. My car is paid off completely so I have tons of options. Thanks for the help!

Also, I have considered doing a tranny swap. The car has sentimental value to me because it was a car my grandfather bought me and we worked on together and he is no longer with us so thats just another option.

well save your money because the ft86 will be close to 30k if you go that route

Yeah, thats what I was thinking. But I could make the monthly payments on it. I just wouldn't be able to mod it for a while.

just say it was like 29k and you put down 8k you would be looking at close to $400 a month for the car payment

Well, yeah. I have money saved up aside from the 8000. I've got about 15000 I can spend. I'm leaning towards just getting a used tC and turbo it and some other stuff.

good stuff, the ft86 looks nice but it is kind of weak for the price. I am waiting to see what the new tc will look like, i might trade mine in for that. If i dont do that then i want to pick up a decent used DD so i can keep miles off the tc then save and get ptuning kit

Yeah, I really want to wait and see the new tC also. I may go for that. There's just so many options.

there there are a ton of options. I have also just thought about keeping the tc then paying it off, then just save money until something awesome comes along because to be honest there is no car out right now that I am just wow buy that i could afford.

Sounds like I'm in the same boat as you cept im debating on boosting an auto tC for fun or trading it in, but also I have a 5-speed MR2. So maybe a boosted tC and a 5-speed MR2 wud be good cars..... Or just wait till something better comes along since I want a e46 M3 or a Volvo s60R. To Many Decisions
