They should use the toyota 2.5l thats in the TC2 since it puts out 198whp! LOL

They need to just skip the 20k base and go right to a 2.5L turbo thats gotta at least put down 225whp to be competitive since it probably will end up being heavier than planned since they cant stick to the price point or the initial release date or that it will be a Toyota. Oh and it will probably end up looking like a tC2/solora since they are already messing up everything else.

It's not out yet so until the car is available let's stop speculating and stop making rumors.

Think that the new TC is terrible inside. It lools like a Toyota Carolla with the heat controls in dials. I liked the old hidden radio better and there is no tempature guage. I don't like the A and C pillar either, one is blacked out and the to big. The long swooping A to C pillar is gone. I like the 18 inch wheels but I don't like the tail lights or the fact that the car looks too boxy especially above the rear seats. The Genesis Coupe is going to have all wheel drive available for 2012 so I am going to wait to buy one. There is a possibility that the new Sonata turbo may be in the Genesis coupe for 2012 too. And you can get leather interior in the Genesis Coupe. It will be nice with all wheel drive and 274 horse power. Who cares what the price is, I drive a winter commute of 50 miles each day. I have had a 2006 TC for 5 years and it is a nice car especially with leather. I will sell it next year withall the option I have put on it and purchase the new car. Stan Donogh

Well the post was relevant! Thanks Stan! LOL

Oh and Dave, lets keep speculating cause it eats up the time and it makes us be surprised when it beats our expectations. But it also gives us the chance to pull a "I told you so!" which is fun to do every once and awhile!

Keep the speculation coming! Bwahahaha

Seriously, wait till next year, my dealer tells me that the Genesis Sedan and Coupe will have available all wheel drive as an option. With the four cylinder motor with the turbo it will be quite a car. The new Scion TC has no supercharger and is not very curvy like the prior years. I will switch as soon as possible after 5 years as a Scion TC owner. The new one is boring and the Genesis coupe is a nicer car inside and out. What if it only has the V8 with all wheel drive because it has to be the same drive train as the sedan or what if it has the new Sonata turbo with 274 HP? You really need more power to run 4 wheerl drive well. I have had an Audi A4 and A8 and 4 wheel drive is very nice in the winter. Much nicer car than the TC. Stan Donogh

Dude we know about the Genesis! Calm down. Stop acting like its privileged info!

The Sonata 2.0T is awesome! I am planning on that being my next ride! Gonna get some coilovers some raderworks wheels have a nice tuck and turn up the boost with a tune on premium! Bingo Bango! It gets 274 on regular. You could easily get like 20 more ponies with premium! Now i just gotta convince the wife! Although i still would love an Evo! But they are pricy and i wish they had a 6spd manual not a 5spd like in the GSR!
