Hello all

Jon Lancaster from Capital Scion in Chattanooga, TN, here.

I have, as of last friday, resigned my position at Capital Toyota & Scion. I have decided to move on in my life and leave the auto industry entirely.

The piling on of responsibilities without the adding of compensation or even the discussion of increased compensation led to my leaving. It was a very difficult decision to make, as I had devoted the last four years of my life to that dealership, and the last three to Scion.

I have made many friends through my position, and hope for that to continue. I will remain a member of these boards, though I may not have the inside scoop as I used to.

I wish all involved day-to-day with the Scion brand to keep going and growing as long as it is rewarding to you. You all make the brand, NOT the cars.

The brand will be missed, as will my friends in the company.
