Being a black man i am very proud to see history today, but what sent chills up my spine was when they announced he won and they went thru the crowd and you see whites, hispanics, blacks, asians, all colors crying and yelling that he won, thats a good thing. GOD BLESS AMERICA!!

What got me about McCain's acceptance speech was that he said something about it being historical and how blacks (maybe he used the more PC term) are proud. People of EVERY race are proud you f00ker!

I need a transcript to find it. It really ____ed me off.

but overall, you have to admit his speech he made tonight, was impressive. and gained just a bit more respect from me because of it. he hushed his own supports, saying "come on"

Also, it showed a lot about fans. President Obama, was booed in Arizona. And McCain was cheered in Chicago, and cheered through every thing Obama said about the man.

True, but the comment still bothered me. His speech wasn't bitter sounding at all and I was expecting some bitter in it.

With my father's death, I inherited crab fishing quotas. These quotas bring in an amazingly huge amount of money with each crab season. But, before we see the dividends, a good percentage is skimmed off the top and redistributed to Alaskan natives. That's not just regular tax either.

Just another fun fact of big bad socialism that is a regular event in Sarah's state. I wonder how much of a say she had over the crab revitalization act and all the special taxes on profit made from crab fishing. Not that we need any more hypocriticalness about the McCain campaign or anything.

Black or not. a Person that is ready to change this country is now president of the USA! im black. (yay :-P)

unfortunately i didn't vote. im too busy looking for a job :-(. i didn't do any research. i did a little on Obama and mcCain but not enough on the locals.

an also unfortunate thing. the "race"card was thrown everywhere. and i noticed that a little bit too. im in NC Obama barely made it. i think by 25 thousand votes. (as of this minute 00:45 EST)

Together we did!

If you voted for Obama purely for the color of his skin then you are an idiot.

I'm more upset that Prop 8 is going to pass (which it shouldn't) and Prop 4 is going to fail (which should pass).

well i am just glad to have BUSH out of office.

What sucks is i live in Memphis,TN which is deep south and we still have a lot of racist people around these parts. I am expecting riots and have already went out and bought ammo for all of my guns. I've now got 500 rounds each for all 4 guns ha ha

we have already had like 2 people stabbed and a few others shot just cause they had an obama shirt on.

this is what i was worried about too. like i said the "race" card was thrown around a lot and it disappointed me. but im glad that everyone united and voted in general. and that's a good thing.

i hope it doesn't go to anyone's head.
