I want to elaborate on what I posted. The reason I say this is because race realtions and P.C. mentality go hand in hand. We haven't borken through any barrier when Americans continue to sa things such as "breaking through the racial barrier", "as a black person", and many other divisive statements Americans use daily. We should all be Americans first not Asian-Americans, African-Americans, Hispanic-Americans, Native Americans, and any other hyphenated nationality you can fit before being an American! Until you get rid of those divisive terms we shall never "break through the racial barrier".
word.

Okay, people. Let's keep the blatant racism and conspiracy theory out of here. Mature debate is fine, it's what the country is built on, but it's time to grow up and stop the verbal diarrhea.

I noticed that, too. I don't know why he made the big stink about it then didn't wear one himself.

Because most of the GOP attack points were BS.

Socialism? What do you call the Alaska Permanent Fund? It's the same spread the wealth concept that the GOP was getting all worked up on.

No Experience? Who the hell was Sarah Palin before her nomination?

Palling around with terrorists? Read about the Alaska Separatist Party.

So yea.

Did McCain ever have a chance?

Sarah Pailin was clearly under-qualified for the job at hand. On some level I feel this outcome was controlled. Obama will be the scapegoat or fall child for some horrible occurance in this country. Maybe as an excuse to usher in the new alliance between Canada, the US and Mexico under a unified currency system, the AMERO.

I can't help but draw parralells between our current situation and those outlined in Ayn Rand's Atlas Shrugged.

McCain made a poor decision with Palin only b/c of her lack of experience. With the whole racial hype it was a good strategy for him to pick a woman as a vp. However, I do not think the outcome was controlled. Obama will not be a scapegoat for a tragedy and the whole Amero thing is fake.

Is it? McCain didn't choose Pailin as his running mate. She was chosen for him. He had three or four other choices I believe and none of them were a woman. He was coaxed into naming her as his running mate.

This from: http://www.weeklystandard.com/Conten...5/406glxpt.asp

"Of the four individuals most frequently mentioned as potential McCain runningmates--Joe Lieberman, Tom Ridge, Mitt Romney and Tim Pawlenty..."

Those are McCain's original choices for running mate. Show me where it says Pailin as HIS choice...

And prove that the Amero is fake...

PREMEDITATED MERGER
Ex-Mexican prez: Regional currency coming
Vicente Fox confirms long-term plan worked out with President Bush

Ex-Mexican President Vicente Fox last night on CNN
Former Mexican President Vicente Fox confirmed the existence of a plan conceived with President Bush to create a new regional currency in the Americas, in an interview last night on CNN's "Larry King Live."

It possibly was the first time a leader of Mexico, Canada or the U.S. openly confirmed a plan for a regional currency. Fox explained the current regional trade agreement that encompasses the Western Hemisphere is intended to evolve into other previously hidden aspects of integration.

According to a transcript published by CNN, King, near the end of the broadcast, asked Fox a question e-mailed from a listener, a Ms. Gonzalez from Elizabeth, N.J.: "Mr. Fox, I would like to know how you feel about the possibility of having a Latin America united with one currency?"

Fox answered in the affirmative, indicating it was a long-term plan. He admitted he and President Bush had agreed to pursue the Free Trade Agreement of the Americas – a free-trade zone extending throughout the Western Hemisphere, suggesting part of the plan was to institute eventually a regional currency.

"Long term, very long term," he said. "What we proposed together, President Bush and myself, it's ALCA, which is a trade union for all the Americas."

(Story continues below)

ALCA is the acronym for the Area de Libre Comercio de las Américas, the name of the FTAA in Spanish.

King, evidently startled by Fox's revelation of the currency, asked pointedly, "It's going to be like the euro dollar (sic), you mean?"

"Well, that would be long, long term," Fox repeated.

Fox noted the FTAA plan had been thwarted by Hugo Chavez, the radical socialist president of Venezuela.

"Everything was running fluently until Hugo Chavez came," Fox commented. "He decided to combat the idea and destroy the idea."

Fox explained that he and Bush intended to proceed incrementally, establishing FTAA as an economic agreement first and waiting to create an amero-type currency later – a plan he also suggested was in place for NAFTA itself.

"I think the process to go, first step is trading agreement," Fox said. "And then further on, a new vision, like we are trying to do with NAFTA."

Fox's reply to the CNN viewer was captured in a clip posted on YouTube.com. CNN posted video of the interview but did not include the segment with questions from viewers.

Last week, WND reported BankIntroductions.com, a Canadian company that specializes in global banking strategies and currency consulting, is advising clients the amero may be the currency of North America within 10 years.

Coin designer Daniel Carr has issued for sale a series of private-issue fantasy pattern amero coins that have drawn attention on the Internet.

WND also reported the African Union is moving down the path of regional economic integration, with the African Central Bank planning to create the "Gold Mandela" as a single African continental currency by 2010.

The Council on Foreign Relations has supported regional and global currencies designed to replace nationally issued currencies.

In an article in the May/June issue of Foreign Affairs, entitled "The End of National Currency," CFR economist Benn Steil asserts the dollar is a temporary currency.

Steil concluded "countries should abandon monetary nationalism," moving to adopt regional currencies, on the road to a global "one world currency."

WND previously reported Steve Previs, a vice president at Jeffries International Ltd. in London, said the amero "is the proposed new currency for the North American Community which is being developed right now between Canada, the U.S., and Mexico."

A video clip of the CNBC interview in November with Jeffries is now available at YouTube.com.

WND also has reported a continued slide in the value of the dollar on world currency markets could set up conditions in which the adoption of the amero as a North American currency gains momentum.

Plus I saw a video somewhere about it but can't remember where. It was a radio host that has been behind all types of conspiracy theories and it even showed him holding a so-called amero. It's all fake.

what is snopes.com?

who is it maintained by? what are their credentials? from what I can tell it does not seem like a credible news source nor do they provide any citation to where they obtained their information they are presenting. Seems like a wiki-type page to me.

A quick search into the authors of snopes.com turned up a couple named Barbara and David Mikkelson. With further research into the credibility of the couple and their credentials I have come of with zip, zilch, nada. From what I can tell they are an activist, leftist couple, a couple with an agenda. Your first red flag should be the absense of reference to the author of such articles and the absense of sources to their claims. Furthermore, they have been noted as using wikipedia.com as a cource and anyone who cites wikipedia.com as a source should be flamed and ridiculed for eternity!

Please provide a more credible source to support your claim.

Exactly. So many insignificant things were brought up as huge issues by the GOP during this campaign. They had to. They couldn't win on their policies, the only hope they had for winning was to run a smear campaign.

Why does that bother you? The Bill of Rightsclearly states that everyone is entitled to whatever religion they believe. If he believes what is in the Quoran then let him swear on it. It seems more fitting that he swear on what he believes than on something he does not.

I am saying this and I'll be honest and say that I did not vote for Mr. Obama, but I will support him. I believe in unity. I believe that we have to put all these dumb feelings aside and look at what is truly wrong with this country. One of those items is racial division as I stated in an earlier post and I also posted my idea to a possible solution.

Religion is STUPID!!! Don't you get it? Does it really matter who ir wrong or who is right? That's part of the reason the muslim people bomb people of other religions because they believe they are right and others are wrong! WHO CARES!?!?! Religion is another divisive method I'd like to wipe of the face of the Earth. How about being good decent citizens because everyone deserves respect and love? What about that? Instead of 25 invisible people in the sky holding strings and making people dance for them!

... i think calling Obama a black guy is very racist and is being blown out of proportion by the press.

hes mulatto so hes not black or white hes both or nether depending on how you look at it. but he is not one or the other.

while yeah it may be a big that someone that's not full Caucasian decent is in office. i think its wrong that they are labeling him as an African American.

By that logic the majority of Black people in this country aren't really African American.
