Don't drop her too fast, like I said my wife does not allow me to look at any of that crap either and she could give a chit less if ex-chicks watched **** with me or not.

It was probably one of the smartest moves I have made in our eight year relationship, this is mostly a guy forum so you are going to get a lot of 'dump that bish' type reponses but no one really knows your situation enough to give you an answer.

hey I meant no harm. Point is, she's stressing you too much. Not to say that can't be fixed, unless you don't feel like spending time doing that (like S1lent + I). There's plenty of chicks out there and in no way you have to put up with that. Just to give us an idea. On scale 1-10 what is she? Is she worth saving?

All in all, it's not like it's a make-or-break thing anyways, if you can put up with that then it's all cool. When she tells you what to wear when you go out at age of 21... that's when you have an issue

Im not going to go back to look who said it, but I must agree that her insecurity is a bad sign. Things WILL get more difficult in the future.

But it is up to you to decide how much you want to put up with.

 

insecurity is a hard thing to live with... if a girl you are dating is truely not... uhh...if shes uhh... overwei.... uhhh... if she can be "improved" by diet, exercise or makeup and new wordrobe... then encouraging her to take those steps will help her self esteem... along with kind loving words and abstaining from your girlie mags for a while; on the other hand... if she is already hot... and still insecure... good luck.


btw... before anyone jumps on my back... this is based on both personal experience, things ive learned studying to be a shrink and things that i have just noticed in day to day life of people around me.

I will say that someone who is insecure and jealous of PAPER will turn out worse as the reigns tighten...do keep that in mind. I have many a friend who is just as nuts. If it starts on paper, it will be the girl at the checkout line within a few years...I am a woman, I know.

Personally, I read my bf's Maxims, watch his ****, whatever, so I know where his little ideas and suggestions are coming from. Sometimes, guys, just FYI the advice in there is so frikkin retarded ...alas, I don't care, he is smart enough to know for the most part the difference between good knowledge and just good reading. Same goes for ****.

But I will tell you this. He is equally non-jealous when it comes to my readings, movies, oggling of Diesel and Depp. We match that way. Jealousy is one instance where opposites rarely attract. If you can't sit down and talk this out without a compromise, your relationship truly may get more difficult down the road. As long as its not an obsession, I think she is a bit overboard.

 

As you get older these problems diminish and so do the selection of available women so enjoy it while you are young. Things will change a lot by the time you reach your 20's LOL and 30's and 40's and 50's ROFL
