A Reminder of how strict Singapore laws are.
An Australian was recently hanged for drug trafficking. How much heroin was on him? 396 grammes. All you need is 15 grammes to get you the Death penalty. Also, for those who don't know, chewing gum is also banned.

Singapore has very clean sidewalks; I'd heard about that gum law some years ago.
There is a vicious form to enforce conformity in that place.
Glad to be an American, a free slob. It's golden to live here no matter what else we hear in opposition.

Ah, but they have low crime in Singapore...
Not saying it's a great way to take care of crooks...but you know, it would cut down on the high rate of gum chewing vandals we have around here...

yea, he stole some street signs. The thing was he chose the wrong car to vandalize, it was a Judge's car. That was what made it out of proportion. In addition, his family is known by several top figures in the country.
