ive seen those before and there funny, but those covette guys are so full of themselves, i work at a chevy dealership and ive seen count less examples of their "rice" that they do to there cars, all the chrome add on and light cover, seat covers carpet on the dash...etc, there no better than anyone else its just that they have money to buy a expensive P.O.S fiberglass car, oh but my favorite is the leather color matched outside mirror covers. there are a few nice ones that come into our shop with expensive 3 piece wheels and superchargers, the one guy spent $32,000 on engine upgrades and had the reciets and dyno sheets to prove it, but my favorite one is a chop top vette, i dont care for corvettes but i almost craped my pants when i saw it, ill try to find my pics of it

I have a Vette and I can assure you is not a "P.O.S fiberglass car".

yeah, seriously, i've driven them, they are fast, period. it is the only car gm makes that i would consider. my dad has two. they are incredible cars. how many other cars are there that can do what it does for that price? it is also an american icon. a legend. yes, it isn't the fastest baddest awesomest coolest etc'erest car on the road. no car is, it is all a matter of opinion. sure, dodge vipers are faster, so are some porsches. but then lamborghini's are faster than they are and then ferrari's and then you end with the bugatti veyron.

i've met alot of corvette owners, they are all pretty good guys. yes, they are older cause not alot of younger people can afford a vette, or it can't accomadate their lifestyle. it isn't like corvette owners pull up next to your box, point and laugh at you and then peel out.

get off your soap box of a car very slowely drive away cause since it takes you nearly 10 seconds to get from 0-60 in your top of the line, cutting-edge, pinnacle of automotive engineering from japan.

thank you for your opinion, now kindly do shut up.

I didn't read the whole thread but those corvette owners seemed cool. They were even making fun of themselves for being old and having to take viagra/etc. They drive cars that will smoke pretty much any other factory car on the road. I thnk you may just be jealous...

After reading your posts, I came to realize that you are a little unclear on the concept of "their, there, they're".
There: A place. Can be remembered by There because "here" is a place.
Their: In reference to people. Their
They're: Contraction of "they" and "are".

If you're going to make yourself look like an ignorant fool, you might as well do it with proper grammar.

In my job, I've noticed that most of the corvettes owners out there do absolutley nothing to their car other than window tint. However, some of them are douchebags, just like any other car owner. Corvettes are awesome, I would drive a 6 Speed C6 or Z06 any day of the week over my xB.

I would not call a corvette a POS. A car that has at least 300 HP more than our car is not a POS.

I gotta admit, I saved these of my comp and will probably print some out and put them on my friend's cars for laughs.

wow, how defensive over a vette, they are overpriced for what they are, and hmmm lets see how many do we have in our shop right now.....5 that i can count, mostly because they dont start or there are multiple electrical problems and or powertrain issues and when you have to deal with the irate customers, yes they are A-holes, and they think they have everyright to be that way because they can afford a vette, ive driven more vettes than you ever will and my opion will never change, so complain all you want i dont care because honestly this has gone way off topic.

You're the one who took it off topic by going off on a tangent about how Corvettes are P.O.S's.

And about the "overpriced for what they [Corvettes] are..." thought. Show me another new 505 horsepower vehicle in the $75,000 range. Granted it is still a Chevy, so there will be the regular build quality issues, but Lamborghinis, Ferraris and other exotics aren't perfect either; especially for their prices.

I agree that you, and everyone else, is entitled to his or her opinion; it's America for Christ's sake. However, there is a right way and a wrong way to state your opinion. Anyone with any sense would realize that saying "...expensive P.O.S fiberglass car..." would start an arguement. Simply saying: If feel that Corvettes are crappy because of..." would have been understandable.

It's no wonder your customers acted like a$$holes after having to deal with you.

That new $75,000 z06 is a pos. It'a slow as poop and would probly break down before it finished a quarter mile race. Next time someone brings one in offer to race for pinks then you can sell it and use the money for a down payment on a new xb. LOL...

You know, I always knew working near exhaust fumes wouldn't be good for people. It affects their cognitive abilities. Poor guy.
