What a joke, this thing is rigged. I've tried to enter a few times and it won't take it. I guess I'm too old, don't belong to a club, and listen to Zydeco music. Any one of these in and of itself, is enough to get you shunned.

I'm looking at the list of winners and don't recall hardly any of them being on the board. Guess it doesn't matter how many posts you have. I also don't understand why all the mods automatically get to go. That's just WRONG.

hey jethro - no sense in stirring up dust that isn't even there. ALL the mods don't automatically go, just the supers...the guys that have been busting butt since day one to make this the site that it is. That was just the deal that darren worked out for US. all the super mods and 300 winners.

Is it all really DUMB luck? I think way too many people are entered now and the chances really stink.

I will wait until the next list is released until I start crying.
I know for a fact that when the second list was posted one SuperMod was on the drawn winners list and now he is not on the drawn list but he is on the SuperMod list.

As of 3:45pm PST (with the partial 3rd wave list up) there have been 175 names chosen.
As of 3:45pm PST there are 27422 registered users on ScionLife.com. Subtract 175 winners and 14 mods and that leaves the odds of the rest of us winning at 1 in 27233 (0.00005%) , or roughly 4x better than the odds of any of us dating a supermodel and 10x better than the odds of being struck by lighting!

Actually the odds are MUCH better than that, because nowhere NEAR 27,233 members entered the sweepstakes drawings. :D
Using those figures and figuring that maybe 30% are actually active members, and not just folks that got an ID and log in once every few months (and all those duplciate IDs - yes, I know you folks have 'em, a lot of 'em are really easy to spot), and figuring that maybe 20% of those active members actually entered (a rather high number!) that means that we have maybe 1634 folks who entered.
If 175 have already been selected, that leaves 1459.
That means that the 125 slots left are divided amongst 1459 people, or 125:1459 ...
That means that each one of those who entered but haven't won yet has one chance in twelve chance of winning.
(To give accurate figures, I'd need to know how many actually entered. It would be interesting to find out how many entered the sweepstakes, eh?)
