Seeing Lower Gas Prices? Here's why...

Of course I'm not trying to start a religious debate here, I just found the comments amusing. And I wanted to share this from the comments...
Quite possibly the best use of O RLY that I've ever actually seen first hand... Just brilliant IMO.

Correlation does not imply causation. They prayed, the price came down. They coincide, but they don't have a proven cause and effect relationship.
I am a religious man, and I also have a modest operational understanding of science, as well as economics.
Anyone who eschews reality for spirituality, or vice versa, doesn't understand spirituality, and that it isn't at all at odds with our limited understanding of the real.
claiming that prayer and "faithful" people having their vision of god doing their bidding is, IMHO, foolish, and backwards.
The first commandment that God gave Moses was: Thou Shalt Not have any other gods before Me.
That includes making one's self into a constructed god, and crafting a spiritual impression in our own image. God created us in his image, not the other way around.
