so what would win in the quarter mile? 08 civic si or an 08 scion tc? just wondering... my friend is ******* on the tc.. which i own

 

tc = 160hp
si = 200hp

si will win on paper...but if you can drive and he cant you can make it interesting.

 

wrong i seen both at the tracks stock to stock the tc has the torque to get of the line and the si has the power down the track. trust me my friend has a tc also went against my friend that has an si and they did a gruge match they are a good match. they both do around low 16 on the track but if you put them on a street race the si would definitly win because of the road conditions. check the link at the bottom and yeah when you listen to the commentator all he does is talk **** lol its so funny he picks random people from the crowd.

to lay it hand down i let u on a little secret......just cuz a stock si and a stock tC have didnt amounts of HP..it all comes down to the driver driving the car.....

my friend w/ a 07 scion tC w/ just intake, axle back exhaust, and drop VS. a 07 honda civic Si w/ aem intake, dc sport header and catback exhaust......

well the Honda Civic Si went 15.2 and my boy's tC went 15.7.........

a stock civic Si should be in the 14's ... Whocares5050 went a 14.6 on a stock Si ........

so really it all goes down to the driver not just the car

You guys are arguing outside circumstances.

To answer your question, the Si will beat the TC hands down.

Stop defending the TC by saying a good driver could make it interesting. A good driver in the Si would make it worse, how about that?
