Is this your tax refund or your "economic stimulus check" If it is the latter I though those do not come until June?

oh no, I owed the state 15 dollars. For my federal, I received what I deserved already.

I just got this one in the mail today, so Im assuming its the stimulus check.

 

Exactly. Thats your state check not your federal......And that is not the stimulus check either. You probaly only owed $12 and paid $15

It says State Income Tax Refund right on it. Easy to figure out.

It's OK. I got $25 from the state. But $600 from federal . TRD DROP HERE I COME!!

So in the time it took you to take a picture of the check and edit out your personal info, you didn't notice the big "STATE OF CALIFORNIA" across the top or the RED text box that says "State Income Tax Refund"? Your check from Bush will be a Federal check, not state.
