2-3 MPG means if my moms prius had those wheels on when she came down from the Bay Area, I could have had better mileage when I made the same trip. (She got 43mpg I got 40.47) With CAI and 4-1 header.

Ya, that wouldn't be as bad as I'd expect... but it seems like paying the extra $$ for a fuel efficient type of car and then doing something to it to cut down some of the mileage just doesn't make any sense...

haha I hear ya. I can't wait to get a hybrid one day. That day will be when they design one that doesn't look like a pile of crap on 4 wheels.

Just look at the big picture: he's in a nice car, with plenty of room and a nice ride, and he's still getting >40mpg.
