my first car, a 1994 chrysler concorde. it had REALLY weathered lights, to the point i could hardly tell they were on somtimes. I was comming out of a bright gas station4 days after i had gotten my liscense, and didnt realize that the lights were off. went like 100 feet down the road with them off, couldnt see ____, and turned them on. 1/2 mile later an officer pulls me over

him: do you know why i pulled you over?
me: nope
him: well, you were driving down the road without any headlights on
me: they're on now
him: i see that, have a good night

wtf?

 

Here's one...

I got lost in Pasadena, CA years ago with my girlfriend looking for a restaurant. It was dark and I couldn't see the street signs. I turned down the wrong street, so I decided to bust a U-turn. It turns out the street was a one-way. I almost had a head on collision with an oncoming car. A motorcycle cop was watching the whole time and quickly pulls me over.

I immediately started to apologize and told him that I wasn't from around the area and was lost. I was super polite and explained that I was just trying to take my girlfriend on a date. I literally begged him to go easy on me.

After running my license for a while (clean record, barely turned 16) he said, "You two look like a nice couple. Try to get where ever you're going safely! Have a nice night."

Lucky! I never get off with anything but atleast a ticket! And usually some verbal flogging...

that was 5 or 6 years ago.

if i was pulled over again at the same circumstances then they would probly tow'd the car away. back then cops were'nt as **** as today if u modified ur car.
