the 5.0L is a windsor V8.. and they do make swap kits for it.. same with the 4.6L which can be alot quicker then the 5.0L , same motor thats in the newer mustangs, and Cobra..

as for handling, its converted to rear wheel drive, and of course everything would be stiffened to support the weight for the heavier motor.. it can handle it just fine

 

i didn't say it isn't a windsor v8, but the video didn't specify. i think the person who sent it said it was a 350 windsor. but that was years ago so i'm kinda fuzzy on the details.

 

it would be a 351 windsor then.. 350 is chevy, 351(5.8L) is ford.. 351 is a windsor and would be possible just as much as 302 (5.0L)..

 

...and that's assuming you can get the POS to start.

ecotech are chevy's 4 bangor engine, ford focuses use zetec and duratec.

 

the only reason ive seen people have problems with fords is because of driver error, like fixing something that aint broke, then making it broke.. this is the reason for has a bad rep, they are the leaders right now for an affordable muscle car, and there motors get better and better

 

besides that 351 windsor, ford is crap. I'd have to be out of my mind to buy an american 4 cylinder

better and better? they have bigger weaker engines getting lower mpg. v8's that make less hp than other companies 6 cyl engines. but ugly cars.

leader in affordable muscle cars? all they have is the mustang and that ain't much to be proud of when a 25 grand gt can lose to a 20k chevy cobalt ss supercharged on a road course.

its brakes are underpowered and suspension is disgustingly sloppy. a true muscle car, sounds really hard to make a car that isn't even that good at a single thing other than looking retro and going fast in a single direction.

 

Cant forget about the xBs......besides...I tell it like this...I met this guy yappin at the mouth about how much he could beat me in his SRT-4 Neon....I told him good for you, I know you will beat me, but lets set up a race in about a year. He said why, you palnning on turbo charging your car by then......I said, no, your engine is planning on dying before then.
