Hey Ace, you here anything about whether your kit got shipped out? I talked to Todd last week and he said everything was done including the mani. He said it was getting shipped on Friday but I havent heard from him as to whether it actually did ship out or not.

He told me same thing last week but was still working on the mani, then emailed me back sunday he said he still waiting on something else and might ship it (yesterday) but the manifold still will be done this week then getting coated. He said he is doing 15 manifolds right know so it took a lil longer. Hopefully it will get here this month so I can install right a way, and hopefully no more delays

I am hoping I get it soon as well. I'm supposed to be showing my car next month and would love to have the kit on by then.

I was thinking the rating on the stage 4 is better as well, but their rated over stock, and I think the stock is actually good for 200 due to the supercharger option. So the 3 might actually be fine. Not only is the 4 rated higher but it's cheaper as well. HOWEVER...the 4 is a puck style and the 3 is a disc style, so daily drivability drops off considerably.

a puck style is more of an On/Off type clutch where the disk style is more stock feeling, so you can eas in and out...better on hills and in traffic.
I wanna know how jax likes his stage 3. Someone else (I think whocares) had the 4 and he said it wasn't TOO bad.

3 is rated for 200% over stock and 4 is rated for 250% over stock, so it's not really that much better. So if your looking at the stock tC, that 155x2 at 310 for the stage 3 and 155*2.5 at 387 for the stage 4

But if you consider the scion approved supercharger running on the stock clutch, it's more like 185*2 at 370 for the stage 3 and 185*2.5 at 462 for the stage 4 which sound more accurate to me.

It's up to you, but I'd say get the stage 4 just to be my guinni pig, and if you dont' like it, I'll get the stage 3

Oh...and I'd rather not say what Todd's giving me the new IC pipes for, but it's cheaper then what he was offering me the new intercooler for. I think he's giving me a deal cause I've brought him a little bit of business
Just ask Todd about the pipes. I'm sure he'll work something out with you.
Are yours as low as mine right now?

I have scrapped both at some point, but my cold side is worse then the hot side, just like yours.

Did you decide on a clutch?
Oh, and Todd can get clutches for you too. Just throwin that out there. Nothing against dezod, as I've ordered from them before and they have always been very helpfull, but I figured, with you being in Hawaii, if your already paying Todd to ship stuff to you, you may as well have him throw the clutch in the box to, ya know?

So, I found a shop here that does ceramic and powder coating, so I'm thinkig of getting my valve cover coated. What do you all think? Silver to match my BOV, WG and Vac Block? Black to match my mani and charge pipes? Or see if they can do Flint Mica to match my car?

By the way, over 100 pages and over 2000 posts in this thread! I'm a SL *****!

i don't think todd can get competition clutch anymore. dezod has full exclusivity from what i've heard

Hmm...really? I have not heard that.
I thought they just happen to get the last ones currently available.
but it was a few months ago that I asked todd about the clutches, so I guess its possible. I've been wrong once or twice before

I think you should get a polished look... there is a powdercoat that will give it that look and it is the chrome single coat powder, it has the clear built in... I do powdercoating on the side so thats the color I have found to give a polish look...

or you can get the xtreme chrome (well whatever that company you know carries that is close to this color)
