I agree.... are you building or getting standalone first? I'm doing the later..... I found a long block I great condition for $800 some I'll be building that on the side to keep my car rolling until the day of install

Now, back to me! (after all, it is MY thread )
I put the new (5.9psi) spring in my wastegate last night and I noticed that the rubber sealand around the two halves of the WG seems to be a little off. Might be getting a little boost creep from that, cause even with my boost controller turned off, it's going to 6.9psi.
I wanted one setting at 6 and one at 9, but I may do nne at 7 and one at 9 for now, but this also means I'll have to adjust my duty cycles.
nah it just doesnt fit... well it currently barely fits and is leaning against the slave cylinder... sorry for jacking your thread I was just trying to post here since all turbo toyotas junkies post here. Todd is trying to get me a turbo with a smaller housing, unfortunately i can't get it before the autoshow.

damn...that sux. I coulda swore he had that turbo already setup with the twin scroll.
But don't worry...my thread is unjackable!

Bryn...I'm really happy with the F/IC for now, so I will build first, and hopefully by then, AEM will fully support the tC with their EMS. But were'r talking down the road.

Yeah, it's all just one big jacked thread!

Yeah, Dezod put some package together to make it work, but AEM does not OFFICIALLY support the tC, whereas the Hydra does.

There's a thread on here somewhere that Rhythmnsmoke started asking about the AEM with some good info on it.

OK! Dropped the car off today at Best Muffler to get a 2.5 midpipe (not cats or resonator) with a flex pipe up front and they are rewelding the flange on my INjen axle back to bring the elbow up a bit, case that thing hangs LOW!

$240. What do you guys think?

I was seriously considering running 12 lbs on the stock motor with my Dezod kit, is that too much? I am at 9.5-10 lbs right now with a 2.25" catback. 12 lbs plus a 3" catback should be a lot huh?

On a stock block... Unless you drive conservatively expect to blow your block quick...

Well, I want at LEAST 300WHP and 300WTQ, so I doubt going from a 2.25" to a 3" catback will get to my goals from 259WHP and 287WTQ.

The flex pipe alone is $80.
So without that, the custom pipe and them rebuilding the flange on my axle back is $160

So, we can add my name to the SL curse list. My motor is screwed. We were tuning my car today. Got it running great then on the final pull we got to 5lbs pulling strong the floored it. I hit 8lbs and then boom. Instantly let off, pushed the clutch in and it stalled out. Pulled off, got out and checked everything and it all looked fine. Got back in and tried to start it and it wouldnt even turn over. My friend got the idea of checkin the plugs and when we pulled plug one we was destroyed. We shined an LED flashlight into the hole and all we saw was crankshaft. None of the other cylinders look bad from in the sparkplug hole so I'm guessing its onthe the first one. We're going to be ripping the motor apart hopefully in the next few days but I'm not sure about that. I got a pic of the sparkplug on my cell so once I get it loaded up I'll post a pic.

The ironic thing is that my sisters BF said that I should get the most power outta this motor and build my second. Then once I blow this motor I can install a built motor. This all happened an hour before my car blew up this afternoon.
