when did they say that? everyone who says the emanage can tune part throttle with the pressure sensor does NOT have the emanage with pressure sensor. it will NOT adjust because of open/closed loop operation. only once you hit open loop will the tune go into effect. the aem has the o2 sensor skewing which allows you to tune part throttle which is the point of the black box. i just hate people ragging the black box saying its a waste of money when it serves a purpose. rhythmsmoke is the other one who doesn't like to listen to me.

but everyone should get the fic now that its an option. with the fic, no black box is needed. sorry, not trying to stir things up, just wanna put in some info on the black box from someone who owns it.

So with the blackbox, pressure sensor wont be necessary or both will still be recommended?

pressure sensor is not required but for me it makes tuning easier

oh yea, i need a barb for my block too, almost forgot about that.. how easy is it to tune the bb? dang thats another extra cost from the tuner

oh that's cool just pnp, but the tune is standard to all? no variables or factors like a baseline tune? i know it has a basemap in dezod technotes

but yeah, I don't have the greddy OR pressure sensor, OR black box, so I'll take yoru word for it...but if the pressure sensor does not enable part throttle tuneing, why is it neccessary?

i'm sure you could tune it more specifically to your car, but i bet it matters a lot less at partial throttle since you're probably not going to be hitting max psi.. i dunno.. at WOT it's one thing, but if you can risk running partial throttle on the stock ecu, it probably wouldn't be too too necessary to tune the black box. but hey, if you want to, go for it
