702...you are having issues with the stock setup cause you have the bigger injectors in. If you got stock injectors and cleared your ECU, you car would run like it normally did.
And aen, I don't think it's your ECU because we thought that with my car, but when they put the greddy blue on, it ran fine, but they tuned it with the primary disconected to throw loop, so always code.
My F/ic I think is all wired up with resisters now, but no codes.

philllllllllll, newer injectors wont' make a difference until you get to 80% throttle...when in closed loop the ecu moniters the fuel that is injected
in open loop the ecu just injects all fuel get it?

Niiiice work. Tell your installer he did a good job, and that he can have to next two days off to watch The Backyardigans. Oh, and nice engine bay pics, it looks like a baby squidy from The Matrix is being born inside. Lol.

Java: no, that is with the F/IC...I think they got the bugs worked out.
Fenrir: Thanks! I can't believe after all this time we are still getting new people in this thread! I'm hopeing to have pics of the new manifold and new IC pipes in about 2 weeks, so stay tuned!
aen: Fenrir was talking about the first page with all the pics where I posted up my son and said he was the installer...and he LOVES the Backyardigans!
But about the injectors...I still dont' buy that. I mean, I understand the concept, but if that's the case, that means you should be able to drop 1000cc injectors in there and the stock ECU will still add the perfect amount of fuel to get to stoich untill you reach 80% throttle and it goes into open loop...
I could be totally wrong here, but I think the stock ecu uses a calculation of how much fuel the stock size injectors should be pushing for any given time, not actually monitoring how much fuel is being pushed.
If it could do that, why wouldn't AEM make a product taht monitors fuel as well so that it does eveythign automatically instead of making you adjust fuel trims by percentages?

"yeah... cough cough the stock ECU will still add the perfect amount of fuel to get to a stoich you knowww what i mean.. untill you reach 80% throttle and it goes into open loop"
