yeah...I had it before...but not for along time...not it's back with the new, perfect tune.
I'ma stay outa boost and see if it comes back. May need to pull some fuel at full boost cause it's low 10s.

so i raced this honda civic that i guess didn't see my intercooler
he was turboed too. sounded like a 16g. he pulled up on me and i just went WWWWWOOOOM.

so i dynod today to some very interesting results, both good and bad interpretations.
firstly, lets keep in mind it was 108 outside. also, apparently despite having a 9.5 pulley, im only boosting around 7. so the BAD: wow these are some low numbers. the GOOD: wow this explains why i cant beat a GTI.
let the speculation begin: 175.4whp, 156wtq. with WCF.
we also did some runs without any filters (hydrocarbon and air filter). 192.1whp, 169.2wtq.
as it was explained to me, aside from the lack of boost pressure, a car generally loses almost 1hp for each degree of temp. so... say i lose 30whp right off the bat. its hot. i was expecting around 230whp from what ive seen around SL. so say, realistically, id then expect 200. well... 175 is a bit off. could be made up in boost lost from that pulley.
so on that note, today we spent a majority of the day cutting my injen intake and fitting it. my oh my what an adventure... haha. lets say it involved duct tape and a couple zip ties. oh and a dead dremel, 4 cutting wheels, and a hand saw. so now, to fix boost issues.. but i have no idea where to look. there really arent any places to lose it!
anyway....
cars and coffee was pretty nice :D saw a supra with piping for its turbo 6" in diameter. crazy. few exotics. scions. new bmw m3, z4 m, m5 :D... it was pretty nice in general. too bad you'd be a human steak if you stayed out for longer than a few minutes!

Honestly, I'm not sure where you got 230 from...I was thinking it would be 190 max, but I didn't want to burst your bubble!

the cold side popped out but i think i handled it well, i just kinda drifted to the side and went home.
stuttering and puttering the wholeeeeee way.
isn't 230 with hte 12.whatever pulley?

hey phil and aen... i have a ? for you guys.. on both your kits... where are your breather tubes running to... the one thats on the VC. is it running open, to a filter, to a catch can etc etc... to the intake pipe on the turbo.... just wondering as i see not many kits addressing this one particular tube.
