so...I made a little adjustment to my tune today...I'm not one for full out street tuning...I've only been tweaking idle and WOT a little here and there when neccessary, but my old tune gave no CEL and my new tune does. I'm thinking since it's throwing the code, it's making it run a little richer then it should, as my WOT are DEEP 10s, like 10.2 AFR. Problem is it goes like that as early as 6 psi, so i lost some power.

In any event, I just wanted to see if it was my 02 table or my new 02 sensor throwing the code, but my old map just boggs down my car now. So I took my old 02 table and copied it into my new map, keeping everything else the same as the new map. I've only driven a little like it today, but so far no CEL...but what's really awsome is that now my WOT are in the high 10s low 11s AFR and I can TOTALLY feel a differance in power! I actually noticed the power increase a litte in the low end before I even looked at where my AFRs were at, so hopefully this will stay. I'm also going to try and get another dyno done to see if it actually did increase power and finally put my over 300whp...

so...i drove around a bit more today...still no CEL, but I'll give it till after my daily comute tomorrow before I start tweaking...but I noticed that for my last post, I was only paying attention ot AFRs in boost...my AFRs at idle and cruizing a a bit on the rich side...mid 13s. strange how adjusting my 02 table changed my AFRs so much, but I'm sure it's because i'm sending a different voltage to the stock ecu, so it's squirting more fuel.

If my CEL does not come back on, I will adjust fuel trims for idle and cruizing, but if it does, I may take my idle and cruize 02 settings from my pro tune and leave my boosted 02 settings for what I have now...we shall see...

aen...what do you think...should I try adjusting the 02 table or the fuel map first?

always adjust the fuel map over hte o2 map

o2 is just voltages, fuel is actually a percentage

3.3 is always going to be 14.7 unless fuel messes it up or the toyota ecu changes that

that's what I figured...just wierd how much my AFRs changed by just changing the 02 map.

Where you at now? Vegas or AZ? and how's your car doin?
Did you hear about the split in the meet?

az, the split is stupid.

sounds like our meets tho hahaha, afr's would def be changed by o2, remember.

the toyota ecu reads the o2 sensor THEN cahnges the fuel mixture.

HELL YES _____ES!

I got a sticky thread locked and a new thread stickied in one fell swoop! THANKS HIEU!

New F/I dyno thread is up, people:

https://www.scionlife.com/forums/vie...572&highlight=

I only have the original chart in for now, but I copied all the other stuff up, so when I get another chance (probably this weekend) I'll get the rest of those sheets linked to the chart, and then you can all post up yoru new dynos...

so...what do you think the likelyhood is that the different voltages in the 02 table are what caused my 02 sensor to go bad in the first place?

0% =P

o2 sensors don't overload with information. the lean or rich condtions caused it.

Depending on when I get my stuff, I'll have a baseline (+3" PTuning S-Pipe back) and then my turbo pull.

Yeah...after I thought about it, I realized that the f/ic is intercepting the voltage sent FROM the 02 TO the ECU...it's not actually sending voltage TO the 02 sensor, so it can't blow it

3 days and about 80 miles...so far so good. (no CEL)

ace...you mean the bolts holding the turbo to the manifold? Not sure...I was missing 3 of them.
I'd just take 1 out and go to Home Depot and pick up 4 longer ones.
