I just don't know how beneficial this trip is going to be for me if he's still getting the hang of the AEM F/IC.
I'm going to write hime back.
i think in the long run your going to be much happier with the aem.
____ it lets all just tune our own cars. with forpinks help we can do anything right?

The AEM is indeed slowly proving to be a nice little unit. Once more members start posting their experiences with it I think it will be the new standard in piggy back tuning.

Sorry for holding off on a massive meet and tune guys, I need to make sure I have the right resources and tools before I can start taking multiple cars. Hopefully by spring you guys can all head out and get a nice little tune done.

how do you temporary tune? all you can do is tune up to a certain point then it gets confusing right?

thats what sue told me. =|

Well, I basically have a temporary tune. It's running, just a little lean at partial and a little rich at full. and only 250.
honestly, I think Sue could tune both of your cars just fine with the greddy instead of the aem. I think I can hold off till spring. We are going to visit my wife's brother's family in April, so I'll be up there then anyway. We'll just take 2 cars, or tow the tC.
I think you two (chris and matt) should either go to Sue to tune for now (or for good) or download the base greddy map from dezod and see how that is.
chris, you should do that anyway since you already have the emanage. Just get that harness. and if it doens't work for our area, then maybe matt should not install his kit yet.

If you have the cash, go EMS. If Sue takes the F/IC training, go with the F/IC. Otherwise, get the Greddy Ultimate. Simple as that.

Yeah go with what your tuner knows. You'll be better off in the long run.

Well, appereanty chris and mat are cruzing to ira to find his baby mama. no offence, ira, but I have 3 kids of my own, so I have enough drama and don't need none of yours! but i've heard the story and i feel for you, bro, i really do.
But yeah, i already had an AZ trip planned for april, so looks like that's when I'll be visiting Dezod, unless Sue gets teh training before then :prey:

i don't think sue is going to get the training for that, i think he's going to wing it and hope he learns it as time goes on

so i found out that the f/ic doesn't even have the pnp harness for my 07 tc.

and i don't want anybody splicing into my ecu. im leaning towards the ultimate now..unless i can find a harness. or sombody makes it by the time i finish getting everything togehter. =|

making me frown. but =( wait im still frowning. hahah

No. not any more then moisture from condensation. Unless you drive through a huge puddle, just like a CAI.

You shoudl PM dezod and see how they are on an 07 harness. of course, i still think you should go with the f/ic. and if he figures it out for you, he will have figured it out for me!
