OK...cool...those last pics were older, but these were from today...so you would say mine are lower then yours, right?

event these pics aren't as good...if you follow the tread in the second pic, youcan see that it actually does tuck at the top.

Meaty....

I would say yours are definatly sitting lower than mine are. I have just under a 1/2 inch gap from the top of the tread of my tire to the edge of the fenderwell. I would say by looking at the pics you just posted tonight... I'd say yours is sitting damn near a full 1/2 inch lower than mine because it does appear that yours are starting to tuck. and both of us being on the same springs... that shouldnt happen.

ok so Todd told me the cold side from the simple kit would fit so I take it off matte car and try to put it on my car... Not even close to fitting!!! To short and design actually isn't the same!! I wasted like an hour! Grrrrrrr anyway cover the little hole with in weld and the tuner said it should effect the numbers hardly.. 2-3whp maybe.. But yeah tune/dyno done with dented ic pipe.. Damn it...

When I replace the ic pipe with the new ones will it effect my tune? I hope not.. If anything I think I will gain that lost horsepower back!

wow...really? I coulda swore they were the same, cause you got the old style pipes, like me.

But yeah, without seeing the dent, I'd still say it shouln't hurt, and the new pipe should give you a little more power.

well I have heard of a number of people with these springs experiencing the coating coming off and allowing the springs to begin to rust....hince leading to fatigue and adventual failure.

Im sorry java i coulda sworn they wher the same pretty much. now that i think about it my ic pipes and your friends comes with those long 90degree couplers that you gotta cut to fit. I just wonder if that played a roll in it.

I'm sure that probably played a small role in it.... I've built custom cars for a long time and more often then not when your doing custom work there will be at least some level of fabrication on your part that will need to be done.

Dude! whats with all the hostility? lol....
In my case, the pipes lined up perfectly... I just needed to fab a new set of mounting brackets that held it in place to the frame.
