I REALLY REALLY want to, but I'm worried about my clutch.
Right now, I can't launch to well with the stocker, but it's grabbing fine for daily driving.
I'm worried about launching hard and jacking up the stock before having the money for the new one.

If you could post of a DYI with a list of needed tools, I would only have to pay for the clutch, not the install, and then we could do it and I'd go to the track that weekend!

But bcnu and fmtc are boosted, just not tuned, so it wouldn't be much of a show.

Next week is our disneyland vacation, so my wife will be in a good mood when we get back.
As long as I can hold onto this $100 in my pocket, I'll be able to convince her to let me spend another $250 and get that clutch!

Hell, maybe I'll just run up to the track and do a couple runs on the stock clutch, just to see what we can do!

hahah

don't think you shoudl do that, what if you kill the clutch at the track? hten you have to get it towed all the way home or to a shop.

i want to do a diy clutch/flywheel install too and put it on SL cuz sl is in dire need of guides like that

ystc has a guide for the flywheel, and its generally the same since....they are located in hte same area

but no pictures you can use that.

^^How much power you putting down again? 240-250whp will last a good number of track days on the stock clutch. I can't remember how much you said you were putting down, a couple of passes would not put your car out of commission.

Not my guide, but there is one you can follow here:

Yup! My car was at prostreet!
The flint mica with the hotchkis stickers in the window (is how people seem to notice me)
But then again, I think we have all been there at some point or another! BCNU was there with his white one getting gauges and springs putin.
come to the meet this saturday!

rhythm, yeah, I'm only putting down 252 right now.

aen: my clutch was kinda bad to begin with, I think, cause of this steep driveway at work. I sit on the cluthc while I punch in my code so I dont' roll back, when I should be using the e-brake hill method. I dont' think i'll be able to sit on the clutch on a hill with a puck style! But you should be good for awhile, like travis said.

I thought the ssTT was you, jackass...I mean...matt.

I went to the sonic meet once, the day I picked up my car from the tune shop. Also the first day I got pulled over after boost! Not going back...to many cops.
Brian goes to that meet cause Sean (ledmod.com) likes it and he sponsored brian. I might go this week, just to kick it with brian.

The rest of us meet at the INnOut off Lake Mead and 95 up in summerlin on Saturday Nights at 8:00 (I'm never there till 9:30 or so!)

And yeah, bcnu_702 is the white zpi stage 0. He meets to.

He said it was for a guy in Vegas. WE asked him who. He wouldn't tell us.
But then you told me it was you, Matt.

...we have to spray it with water if we want it to bake

toilet paper isn't going to bake by itself. it's like laying a piece of paper on the ground outside and hoping it bakes

hahah, sorry i had to get that out, formed that mental picture before i even said it =D
