So would you try to race v8s 4pinks, seriously? Just curious since you seem to have all the 4 bangers knocked out.

You need the Extra Industrial Strength for me...

Wow those pipes hang real low... so much tubing on that kit.

Question - with the ATI Epod - how much did you have to drill into your dash?

I was thinking the same thing, is that gonna be fixed in future kits? I'm on stechs and can see me not making it over a speed bump with those.

Meaty, you get new pipes? Or are your pipes still that low?

Matt, I was talking to matt
(olahalo)

Yeah, the pipe i replaced was the hot side, which is not so low, the cold side is still real low.
No problems over speed bumps, but certain dips hit. They used to hit the little plastic thing that was down there.
I think that close up pic makes it look lower then it really is, but it IS a bit lower then the front bumper.
I haven't talked to Todd about gettting a different pipe, but I did mention he should think about re routing them. I'm OK with it.

Brett, can you take some pics of yours?
Oh, and how is your valve cover holding up? Todd took mine off and said it would melt.

Oh, and they drilled a hole about an inch and a half wide, but it's cause how think all the wires were running from my gauges. Had to put a big hole in my firewall too
But's it's all worth it!

I haven't been following the progress all that closely, but why the concern for it melting?

The manifold sits high and is really hot.
If you look at that one pic, you can see the plastic wire loom melting, but it's much thinner plastic.
I'm going to put mine back on and see how it does.
It may be that heat plus the natually heat in Vegas.

or just realize that its the internet, and that half the people makinig fun of/ beefing with you probably look like corky thatcher anyway. its when people cant stick up for themselves and start crying too the mods to have someone baned, that is the ultimate sign of weakness to me.

I've never done that by the way. I have asked for a thread clean up before. But people get warned/banned on their own merit. Shoot, I got 2 warnings myself....

But no, I have not personally cried to a mod and say can you ban him. I can say this though, some people have been banned for arguing with me....LOL.

No, I didn't say you were saying that, just a simple statement. Can't have a guilty conscious about something you have never done...
