Was it just one shooter? I guess I need a quick run down of what happened.

This is amazing to me. I saw it at work earlier and it was 29 wounded then I get home and they said 30 plus dead. WTF is wrong with America. We're worried about other countries when ours is in such disarray. Why kill others, just shoot yourself and be done.

it was one shooter with a pair of 9 mm pistols from what i've heard. just walked into a classroom with a straight look on his face and started shooting. killed a professor, lined a bunch of them up and executed them. somebody said he was looking for his gf or something.

there aren't that much in terms of details available yet.
single shooter killed 2 persons in a dorm then went and killed 30 persons in Norris Hall before taking his own life. The gunman did not have identification on his person. and is possibily linked to several bomb threats on campus this past week.

there is no sign of a domestic issue that lead to of triggered this tragic event.

the f*cked up part was there was a shooting already at 7:15 in the morning and the school didn't go about canceling classes.

Then 2 hours later the massacre began and the numbers piled up.

kids were jumping out the windows to escape. He walked in with a straight face and chained shut the door so no one could leave. He didnt say anything and just started opening fire.

Pretty messed up what happened. im sure there are 2 sides to this story.

i thought columbine was pretty bad, and this is waaaay worse. At least the kids at columbine had an excuse...they were manic depressive and suffered from psychosis. When you torment someone like that you had bettr watch out.

I doubt that he chained the door shut, maybe locked it, but chained sounds a little bit too much, we will know soon enough

I feel so bad for the families. I just wonder who this person was and what their motivation was. a video on liveleak.com - where they interviewed a student that was shot - said that the gunman was asian and just wore a black leather jacket and a maroon hat.

I wonder if it was a student or not and why the person did this. =/

WTF is wrong with America.
Making love is obscene and forbidden to be shown, but violence in the media/entertainment is portrayed as cool at a startlingly early age and then pummled into their brains at an astoshingly high rate of fire and is shown to solve problems.

Do I blame the media? Hell no, I was a product of that as well, but I have the mechanism in my brain that prevents me from doing that (or at least I hope I do). However, the more I think about it, the more I think that there is something to showing such violent shows and games on a kiddie level and then all through puberty. Geeze, that's when the brain is being wired! uh, hello? mcFly!
