and wow, holy crap this game...........sucks! Granted how great could the game engine be with 256 players in one lobby, but wow this is awful! The mechanics seem very very VERY out of date, slow, and not exciting in any way. Played for about 2 hours striaght and i find nothing that would keep me wanting more. All the weapons feel very generic, player movement is choppy. The sound effects are at the top of my list as all time worst ever. Since when does a grenade or RPG explosion sound like someone slamming a wooden board against a wall. All the assult rifles have horrible range and sound and feel alike. Spawn time takes forever. How fun is waiting 20 secs to respawn, then 1 minute running across the map to defend an objective.....just to die within moments after getting there, and doing it over and over again. I would liken the play mechanics to SOCOM: Confrontation, but with worse graphics, slower gameplay, and everything that's fun taken out.
Granted this is only the Beta, but this is most certainly 80% of how this game will be. In order for this game to be solid it would need to be entirely revamped and not just "fine tuned".
MAG (Montrously Agonizing Game) is yet another long anticipated upset.
With the amount of polished multiplayer games out there, this one will take a back burner in my library.

Uh okay.....i retract everything i said about MAG. Wow, this game has really gotten good! Sniping is dead on point! My kill/death ratio right now is roughtly 11:1. Plus lag is seriously not an issue! This game does not use a host console like for example modern warfare 2 or any other p2p multiplayer games. Not sure exactly how it's done but anytime i contact a body shot sniping from the other side of the map i always get a kill. Granted they may take another step or two but then it'll register the kill, but yes, for those thinking lag was going to be really bad, i'll tell ya, i haven't been in a laggy game yet and i'm over 10 hours of gameplay right now and play from korea with people in the states.
