i go to CALIFORNIA STATE UNIVERSITY LOS ANGELES ::thumbs down:: and my major is PRE-NURSING/NURSING.

plan on transfering to CALIFORNIA STATE UNIVERSITY EAST BAY (HAYWARD) for their Nursing Program.

 

what up shedrives,what sux so bad bout the csula program so much and are you going for yur b.s.n or just r.n?

 

CSULA is horrible. they LAG on everything and they tend to "lose" a lot of important things. for example, the past 3 quarters, they have lost my tuition checks, causing me to not be able to register on my registration date. another thing, it took them 1 freaking year to transfer my units from CSUN. i bet my units wouldnt have been transfered yet if i didnt complain and keep on bugging them to do it. i want to leave that school immediately. they are the most unorganized school ever. at CSUN everything was so fast and prompt. reason why i left CSUN is because i changed my major from Business Admin. to Nursing, and CSUN doesn't have an undergraduate nursing program. CSULA was the closest CSU to my house that provided an undergraduate nursing program.

to answer your question..i'm getting both. it's given that you get a BACHELOR degree when graduating from a CSU. the Nursing Programs in any CSU are for REGISTERED NURSE, after you pass the RN board, it's up to the individual if they want to continue and get their MASTERs to become a NURSE PRACTITIONER (sp?)

Wow that sux that school sounds terrible,that would ____ me off too! I am either gunna just finish out here at the c.c Iam at or maybe go to SJSU to finish up with there B.S.N program. B.S.N doesnt really matta to me anyways cuz I just want to be in e.r mo manager for me . Also later on maybe flight nurse would be fun, riding around in helicopters is wicked fun!!

i went to the art institute of dallas.
got my associate in graphic design. may go back for my bachlors at some point, would only be like a year more or so.

my tC was a grad present to myself!
