What DSLR camera should I buy? Opinions?
Im looking into getting a DSLR camera. I have experience with black and white photography and understand the basics of ISO settings, Exposure, Shutter speeds etc...
What are your guys' opinions on an all around, semi-affordable camera. Im looking between $500-$750 in price range. Not sure about brand, Canon? Nikon? What model? Etc...
Any information will help, I dont want to buy something and be unhappy with the results and/or capabilities.

My 2cents.

Honestly, if your just getting into photography and don't have a preference, go somewhere that has both and play around with them. Hold them, snap some pictures, mess with the menus and pick which ever one feels more natural. Both Nikon and Canon will give you great pictures.
Don't worry about "this camera has this and that" until you really want to get into photography. And by get into photography, I mean pretty much go pro or serious enough to drop $5000 on a set up. At that point, then worry about the specifics.

What brand you start with is the brand you'll stay with since all your equipement will be for the brand and nothing is universal save for filters and memory cards lol
