Neither of these are misspellings, but the wrong word or capitalization:

then vs. than. "I'd rather have S-Techs then Hotchkis"

And my most hated: Tc, Xb, Xa vs tC, xB, xA.

I've got it, folks, the most irritating mistake on the internet:

"REDICULOUS."

Note the first vowel is not E!!! It's I!!!

Rediculous is not a word. Stop trying to make it become one.

I tell you, the spelling is completely ridiculous.

****...well, I guess that one is on purpose.
The their/they're/there bothers me everywhere I see it.
I also hate seeing store signs that say:

SPECIAL!!! 1$

The best was when Arby's introduced the Market Fresh sandwiches.
The sign on the local store said:

TRY OUR NEW MF SANDWICHES

You know what bugs me about spelling?
The difference between british english and american english.
EXAMPLES

tyre/tire, colour/color, organise/organize, realise/realize, flavour/flavor, car park/ parking lot, flat/apartment (ok the last two arent spelling but are examples of the same differences)

also dates

today is 09/05/06 in the UK but 05/09/06 in the US?

BTW i dont think one is better than the other but if I dont use a spell check at work I look like an idiot .
