Yeah guys, so stop answering the question we apparently all know the answer to.

What we are interested in hearing on this thread is about someone eating their breakfast/lunch in a 4ft puddle, while car running, without wheel wells and hydrolocking. Not reasons behind it being impossible to do with driving available conditions.

Hydrolocking your car without the intake being pretty much submerged... Sounds like something for the Mythbusters Adam Savage and Jamie Hyenman over at M5 Industries to take on on their show. I can say right now this myth is busted!

I believe its safe to say we have all made our point, no one can come forth and provide a logical, practical example under actual driving conditions causing hydrolocking. Yet, the myth will still live on within the newbies.

All we can do now is watch.

hmm.. i think Mythbusters should get on this.. though i do believe in that you will need the filter to be submerged to suck up water.... btw have you guys seen AEM's demonstation of their bypass valve? pretty impressive... submerged intake and at full throttle... it pulled up 18" of water..

but still.... i think under driving conditions.... you're not gonna have to worry... now how do we get this myth over to adam and jamie?

*EDIT* topic has been forwarded over to the Mythbusters's message board... we'll see what happens.
