I used to shop at Costco almost exclusively, until I moved to Oklahoma where there is no swearing or Costco. I now shop at Sam's Club and Walmart. Sams is identical to Costco, except for the cheap polish dogs, although they have something similar. I also prefer the Kirkland products over the Members Mark at Sams.

If you do not want to pay a union inflated price for your groceries shop at Walmart, if youre a "feel good" liberal and dont mind overpaying just a little then shop elseware. But, when it comes to Walmarts house brand "greater value" I would put it up against just about anything, its good stuff. I save about 100 per month shopping at Walmart and when you are "balling on a budget" that sure makes a difference. Hell, even if I had money I would still shop there. They are open 24 hours and I go late to avoid the crowds. I can get everything that I want at one place.

We even tried really hard to cut way back on how much we buy from Wal-Mart. We decided that we would try our grocery shopping at a local Giant grocery store(that's the name of the store...and yes, it's huge). My wife took one of our looong Wal-Mart receipts along so she could compare prices as she shopped. We were both shocked. I knew Wal-Mart had good prices...but wow. The bill came to around $180 at Giant. We figured out that the same shopping trip at Wal-Mart would have been around $150.

I shop at Wal-Mart because I have no H.E.B. to shop at.

If I lived in Texas, I'd only set foot in Wal-Mart maybe 2 or 3 times a year. But since Florida does not have the greatest grocery store to ever exist, H.E.B., I have to go to Wal-Mart because I have $700/month in student loans to pay back.

I am a Wal-Mart shopper, but I dont buy any produce there. Thier produce is always f'd up, so I go to a nicer store like Publix to get the veggies.

i shop at walmart several times a week. why? Its cheap and basically the only store like that around( they ran all the other stores out of town) The problem I have with walmart is... They are in the top ten when it comes to buying products from china. So they are bringing us cheap prices because they are paying some asian ten bux a week to make that crap. check out where something is made at when you pick it up.

Mostest awesomest grocery store ever. More produce than a farmer's market, better selection of everything. Where else can you buy $100 bottle of a rare Balslamic Vinagear, a can Wolf Chili, and a weed eater? The prices are also so good that Wal-Mart is very apprehensive about putting in a super wal-mart wherever HEB is. That's how good they are. They also have a lot of in house developed ready to eat or heat and eat foods that are as good or even better than your Mom makes. Pure awesomeness.

The walmart around here isn't as bad as you guys seem to have... not really long lines, I usually get a decent parking spot... but I always seem to run into somebody I know and end up talking for a while...

I only shop at walmart for certain things... such as shampoo and soap and the like... occasionally some dvds, and of course my synthetic oil for my car... sometimes browse the toy section for scion cars... (speaking of which, I remember seeing an xb by 'chub' something... it was actually just a pic on one of the other models, but I have yet to find one... anybody know what I'm talkin about?)

We don't have any super walmarts around here... closest one I found is about an hour away at the other end of the state (literally)

No costco around here either... sams club is about 30 minutes away...

I live in a small city in a small state... I'm forced to go to supermarkets.....

When I lived in FL tho, super target was my favorite place... always did my food shopping there
