I thought about trading mine in too ... but its pretty much worthless with 80k miles on it. Look up the value of youre car on KBB. I gave the tc to my sister ... buying a new car soon anyway, maybe a c350.

It really depends on a lot of things.

How much more do you owe on your car? Whats the conidtion/year/miles/etc. on yuor tC? How upside down will you be if you trade it in? What are you wanting to trade it in for?

If you owe quite a bit on your car then no it won't be worth it..your new car payments will more than likely be higher and your loan will start all over again.

I guess the bigger question is - is it worth it to you? also you will probably get more for it private party than you would on a trade in

is it wise to trade in your car? the higher your trade-in value is over what you owe, the wiser i suppose. i mean, why would you trade in your car if you get less then what you owe? then, if money is an issue, he lower your car payment, the better, but if your doing it because it is a car you really want, then it shouldn't matter as much unless you can't afford it.

why are you considering trading in anyway?
