Wellll, where do i start.

When i dropped the car off he told me it would take 1 or 2 weeks. The first week went by and i called him to see if i should request a trailer or not, he said he was sick that whole week so he didnt get anything done on anyones car. Which i understood, he sounded like death. I said it was no big deal and that i hope he felt better. So then the second week comes and goes, i called him to see if i should request a trailer that weekend but he didnt answer. Left him a voicemail, got no call back. Called again the next day, left another voicemail, got no call back. Sent him a PM on a local forum asking what was going on and he said he would have an update for me soon. About 3 days went by, and i PMd him again, never got a response although i saw he logged on after my PM was sent. So either he didnt read it or just didnt respond. Gave it a couple days, another PM, again no response. Now i was just getting frustrated, im pretty patient and im not really in a hurry to get the car done, but when you have my car and nice chunk of my money, i at least expect an update when i ask for one. He has a review thread on that same forum so i just posted in there and basically said what im saying now, said i wasnt trying to call him out or talk ____. I just wanted an update. About an hour later, he calls me and asks me why im bad mouthing him, i told him i wasnt and i was sorry if it came off that way. He said the car still isnt done... in fact he hasnt even started it yet. There are two other customers cars in front of mine, and the cold weather, and the fact that he is a one man operation doesnt help.

So yea. Dropped the car off 10/25. It is now 12/7 and im sure the car still hasnt even been started. But whatever, im saving up for a daily and finishing up putting the tC back to stock.

 

Geez! Seriosuly it isnt hard to respond to someone! Especially when they have your car and money! The nerve of some people.

Maybe consider taking the car somewhere else?

 

its already at his house in WI, im not going to rent a trailer again to move it somewhere else and ask him for my money back. Not to mention, anywhere else would charge about twice whats he's charging me. Like i said, im really in no hurry, i could care less when this thing gets done.

as much as it sucks, i think im throwing in the towel on this one.
im really loosing interest in working on cars, and i need to go back to school next year.
which means no time and no money.

almost traded my tC in for a 350Z this week but decided to wait it out for a better one. So im searching for one and selling all the 240 stuff.

 

well that sucks...ill take that 240 of your hands..lol

 

yea, its bittersweet.
gonna be nice not working on cars all the time but i really did want to finish this.
maybe ill pick up another one some day.

im kinda in the same boat. school takes up way too much time and money, thats why i took my turbo off, running a stock motor now and just puttin car's major mods off till after i graduate.

a 350 would be sick, i love those, good luck with everything!
