GT3076R Turbo *SOLD*
Hello Everyone.
Contact info: PM me or call/text me 562-447-0407, my name is Jaytee
Here is a Garrett GT3076R for sale. I had it on my TC and was going to throw it on my S2k but I just blew the headgasket on my Civic so I must sell off some extra stuff.
Im selling the turbo for 300 OBO
Turbo Specs:
4 inch inlet
2.5 inch outlet
3 inch v-band downpipe flange
.78 twin scroll hot side (will work with single scroll)
Power coated black compressor housing (has scratches and small dings)
FREE
Water line fittings
-10 an oil drain flange
-10 oil return line
oil feed line
Here is the catch. The turbo MIGHT be blown, so im selling it dirt cheap.
The back story
After many boosted miles on the TC my crank case pressure was through the roof. This caused oil to push past the seals and *possibly* mess up the turbo. I took off the turbo within 2 miles of it blowing smoke. Bad news is you cannot rebuild a ball bearing turbo...
BUT
All hope isn't lost. Garrett has a trade in program, for $575 you can send in the busted CHRA (center section) and you will get a 100% brand new center section!!!
So buy my turbo for $300 + $575 for the new center section =$875 for an essentially brand new GT3076R!!!!!
You can even get lucky and this *might* not be blown. I think if i put this turbo on a healthy motor that isn't blowing the dipstick out from so much crank case pressure, I think it will work fine. But, im pricing it as if it needs to be sent in for a swap.
Here is a video of me spinning the impeller. It spins smooth as butter and does not contact the turbo housing AT ALL, no scoring what so ever
