Alright i have a set of TYC Tail Lights that i purchased from a member on another scion website and was under the impression these were in perfect condition.
Upon installing them all the LEDS worked and everything was in proper working order until i noticed a bit of condensation building in the drive side lens.
after removing them form the car it appears as if the seals might be worn on both tail lights but was only leaking on the driver side.
so i filed a claim through pay-pal but wasn't given my money back so I'm trying to basically get what i can for them as Ive purchased another set.

so a little bit about these lights and there condition as i don't want anyone to have the problems i had with them!!!

both lights are in complete working condition although i believe the seals are worn on both lights.
i took the drivers side light out and let it sit in the house for about 2 weeks now and it appears as all the water is out of the light and i ran silicone all around the edges, this could be a quick fix to the problem but i can not promise.
the driver side light also in the top right hand corner had a chip and i pulled the piece off and filled it full of silicone and re applied the piece, its noticeable but not that bad.

these lights are rare items and i just don't know what to do with them

i tried describing the items as accurately as i could but will provide more pics if needed

i set the price at 150 but I'm open to all offers and will ship no problem

i know you said open to offers, but that price is steep for TYCs with issues....

i agree, even tho im looking for some tyc tail lights, id pay 200 if all i would have to do is plug and play, id lower the price some, sucks that happen to you tho, but i will admit theyre still some sexy tail lights

Yeah there cool tail lights I love them as I have a set on my car right now
I think they'll be fine to someone with a little knowledge of them

If I knew how to get them open I would re seal them but I don't know how to do it

Bake them open and reseal them.

I tried baking my stock tail lights when I had them to reseal and ended up just totally destroying the lenses in them
Not really sure how to go about trying to bake and re seal them

I did what that third post said and I ran silicone around the hole thing but I'm not sure if it toally sealed them or not because I already bought another pair

all i have left is the broken driver side one which has a crack and possibly still get moisture in it
